Courtney Young is a director, choreographer, educator, performer, and mother who has maintained a career in the arts for over three decades. Her professional credits include plays, musicals, operas, concerts, and new works.  She began her career as a performer appearing in eight Broadway shows and national tours including The ProducersYoung FrankensteinThe Full MontyLittle MeCatsFosseJoseph... Dreamcoat and The Radio City Rockettes. As a director/choreographer she has worked at The National Opera at The Kennedy Center, Casa MaƱana Theatre, Papermill Playhouse, City Centers Encores!, and more. Courtney is an Associate Professor of musical theatre and dance at Ithaca College where she has worked on productions such as Twelfth Night the Musical, Head Over Heels, RagtimeWonderful TownThe Cradle Will Rock,Winter Bodies, Sister Act and Wonderful Town.
